| General Optics-Taunton treats the health and safety of its employees and the protection of the environment very seriously. Our processing of beryllium is performed in a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility which exceeds all current health, safety and environmental requirements for this material. Once finished beryllium products leave our facility, they may be handled without any concern for health and safety. Beryllium components should not be machined outside a licensed facility, and local laws should be observed when disposing of any beryllium based items.
